Bridesmaid FAQ

It is strongly encouraged your entire bridal party places their dress orders together through Occasions by Miosa. This is so we may submit the full order together so the dresses will be made from the same cut of cloth (dye lot). That way color and texture will be consistent. If your bridesmaids are choosing different dress styles in the same color, dye-lot variations may occur. The difference will not be drastic, but there may be a slight shading difference between styles.

Due to unforeseen shipping delays, we recommend you order at least 6 months in advance depending upon the designer. It is possible that we can place a RUSH order for you, but most designers charge rush fees to assist in accelerating the arrival time. Please contact Occasions by Miosa for specific details per designer.

Additionally, if your dress will need alterations, we recommend you schedule your fitting at least 2 months in advance of the wedding date.

We work with appointments to avoid any possible problems; So it is required you reserve time by calling us at 916-908-5100 or scheduling via Occasions by Miosa website to reserve dressing rooms available.

Alterations are not included in the price of the dress. If you choose to use Occasions by Miosa to assist you with your alterations, please call us at 916-908-5100 to schedule a fitting.

All of the bridesmaid dresses are made to order. That means the designer dyes the fabric, cuts the pattern, and creates the dress after Occasions by Miosa places each order. Therefore all sales are final and there are no returns or exchanges.
